Dedicated Insert Router Bits I
Applications
- Designed for use on CNC router machines.
- Also can be for stationary overhead routers.
- Use with mechanical feed operations.
- CNC router must have excellent hold downs to ensure the least possible part movement.
- To shape raised panels used in door applications.
Technical Information
- Shank style cutter body design uses 2 non-turnable profiled carbide inserts.
- Cutter body profiles to match the carbide insert.
- Requires no backing plates or clamping wedges.
- Insert fastens mechanically by the use of face mount screws.
- Also, optional center router bit can be used to machine the edges of the panel.
- Maximum RPM 12,000
Advantages
- Reduce set up time because of fewer parts and a constant cutting circle.
- Extend tool life over brazed tooling due to insert accuracy and superior carbide grades.
